Colosseum

One of the best spots to go to is definitely the Colosseum. Built in 80 AD, to this very day, it is still the biggest amphitheater in the country. Millions of people still come from everywhere in the world to see it even if it is now in ruins. Roman And Imperial Forums

The Roman and Imperial forums may be found in the middle of the Colosseum & Vittorio Emanuele II monument in Piazza Venezia. If you want to see what life was like in 500 BC, this is definitely one area that you should really see. Basically, forums were pretty much the core of the Roman Empire. Forums were basically places where folks would have meetings, kind of like a public square of sorts. As for the Imperial forums, they were made around 46 BB and 113 AD. The Vatican is another place that you must positively see. More than just the home of the pope, this is actually home to the biggest church in all of Christendom. This is positively one area that you must visit. Speaking of masterpieces, if you have a look inside you may find Michelangelo's Pieta and the famous four pillars holding up the Baldachin by Bernini. This is positively one sight that you have to visit. After all, you do not need to be religious to enjoy great works of art or to be interested in such a grant piece of history.

Trevi Fountain

Largest along with most popular, the Trevi Fountain is also known as the Fontana di Trevi. Biggest in size and even one of the most breathtaking , how may you not make the time to visit such a great piece. As the legend goes, anyone who throws a coin in is sure to come back to Rome.
