Why You Need To Start Ladakh Trekking

People love exercising but they find it difficult to fulfill all the requirements especially for one that is quite tough. For instance, playing football may require that you know some rules just like playing basketball. The same applies to weight lifting but these do not apply to Ladakh trekking which only requires walking around the city. If you live outside here, you will be stepping up your game by walking from your place into Ladakh and continue to walk around for a few more hours or minutes depending on what you want to achieve.

You can be sure of burning some fat during the exercise. Fat is not good to accumulate in the body because it can lead to blockage of blood vessels and heart failure. Some people do not know that taking a long walk for about 3 months consistently can lead to a significant loss in weight.

Doing this in Ladakh will help your lungs as you inhale fresh air. There are plenty of plants and trees there so your oxygen supply to the various tissues and organs of the body should increase. Walking in the same environment is also important for the health of the individual.

You will also get stronger bones if you make it a daily practice. Apart from that, your balance will improve as well as your posture so that you don't stagger when walking or bend unconsciously when standing. As you do this, the strength of your muscles will also increase so well.

Walking with a friend, brother, sister or your spouse makes this much easier. Even when you are weak, they are the ones that will wake you up to go for a walk. The two of you may decide to start up a discussion or share memories of what happened several years ago. This will make both of you suddenly realize that you have even walked more distance without feeling exhausted. If you don't have a partner yet, just take the first visit to Ladakh and you will most likely find an interested mate.

You can also succeed when you have a portable music player in your hands. Walking the long distance will mean nothing to you as you listen to your best compilation of music. If each song plays for only 5 minutes and you need 1 hour to do your walk, you would have played only 12 out of the list. Thus, there is a tendency that you will want to continue walking so as to listen to more of your songs.

Being consistent is the key to getting the best results from trekking. If you do not have the strength to go one hour or more, you can do 30 minutes and still get some fine results. A good pair of canvas shoes will also make it easier for you. Don't buy an oversized one and buy one that you can easily carry.

You can make it more fun by engaging in other activities such as hill climbing and performing sit-ups. However, do not let these extra tasks deprive you of the strength you need to complete your daily distance. Also, seek medical advice for the additional things you think you may add and adhere strictly to what your doctor recommends.
