The rehearsal dinner is one popular tradition for the North American people. It is a pre wedding ceremony that is usually held at the night of the wedding rehearsal or at the night before the wedding day. And because this is an important event, most of the couples would prefer on having it two nights before the big day. And by this, they can still have time to recuperate, relax, and get ready for main ceremonies.

This event can be a great opportunity for two families in spending their time together. On this day, they should take advantage on a relaxed environment and which is full of happiness. The cost of this is often incurred by the parents of the groom. But this will depend upon the decision of both families, or may be they can share responsibilities. The list must include your close members of family, the officiant with spouses, and you friends. When inviting many people, you may consider on serving cocktails and desserts, not full meals. Sixth is to schedule it right. Think of those guests that you have invited. Since most of them are working, provide them with enough time to prepare. So the typical schedule for party is 6 pm and dinner is at 7 pm. There may be guests who cannot come at night, breakfast celebrations may be a good idea.

Seventh is passing the mic. Guests may also be given the chance to speak and say some few words about the couple. Couples must also prepare short speeches. Eighth is the giving of gifts. This can be a perfect time for couples to present their gifts to their families, especially to their parents for gratitude, guidance, love, and support.

Ninth is giving friendly reminders. Take this opportunity to tell everyone about some important details and announcements about the big day. Let them know about the important items to bring, the time, the location, and the attire.
