By Bill Duggen

It is certain that your car will need new tires at some stage. You have a wide variety of places where you can go to get your tires. The major tire companies sell those tires. All types of brands are sold from the major stores. Specials and discounts can be got at these outlets.

One place where merchants have been selling tires is at Town Fair Tires. A great place to find bargains, it also attracts a lot of scammers.

You probably know already that there are many brands of tires. Of these you would have heard of some, others probably not. Before going to Town Fair Tires get to know tires. These guys may rip you off if you are not careful and know more about your tires.

An extra thing to know is that you don?t need alignments and any other add-ons they will try to sell you. They will often entail you paying more money and coming back for adjustments not needed.

One man?s son needed to have summer tires to replace his winter ones. It was told to him by a manager that he would need 4 new tires. Before the boy had gone to Town Fair Tires his father done the job for him.

The company had tried to fool the young boy into buying tires he didn?t need.

There is another story of a man who tried to get tires for his wife?s Lexus. Toyota tires he was talked into buying by the salesman. Guaranteed for 75,000 miles, he was told. He paid $730 for them. The customer requested that the best old tire be put on the spare. He checked before he left and it had not been done. It took an additional 30 minutes to do that. Later, he found out they failed to balance the tires so he took it in again. On this occasion he was told he had two bent rims. After about 115 days a ball sized lump developed in the side of one tire. As he had been assured of the warranty he took the tire back in. The people there said it was caused by a pot hole. As his tire on the car was discounted and a fee of $14.00 wasn?t paid, the warranty didn?t apply he was told.

For two tiers from Town Fair Tires one customer thought he got a great deal The tires were out of balance and he had to go back three times. The car still shakes at 55 miles an hour, the man says.

One customer went in to have winter tires put on his truck. After he got his truck back, he noticed that the area where the weights had been was damaged. He took pictures of the area and showed them to the manager. He showed to the manager the photos he?d taken. The manager told him they would have them refinished free. The regional manager then refused to allow the work to be done for free.

There are very many customers with problems here. If you want tires from Town Fair Tires, think twice before you do.
