Possible Wii U Marketing With Quality Car Wraps

By Rob Sutter

Gamers who stick to a particular console are going to want others to take notice of it as well. They understand what the system is capable of and that it has the potential to attract others as well. However, this can only be seen if marketing is strong enough and I do not think that the Wii U has had an easy time in this regard. I believe that things will look up for Nintendo in this regard, even if it comes down to quality car wraps proving their worth.

If you were to ask any average gamer, they would tell you that the Wii U is not exactly a broken console. It is strong enough and the fact that the GamePad is a prime piece of the console speaks volumes about just how unique it truly is. Why is it, then, that the console has not been able to catch on with audiences? Many may consider the lack of substantial content as the reason but I feel as though it is more of a lack of marketing on the part of Nintendo.

I do not think that anyone can argue with the point that the Wii U has not exactly been marketed well on Nintendo's part. To me, this was what ultimately led to the slow occurrence of sales on the onset. Consumers, even now, still think that the Wii U is a mere extension of the Wii and not the entirely new console that it stands as. This is inexcusable and it goes to show that Nintendo cannot simply bank on the Wii name alone in order for the console to sell.

I think that quality car wraps stand as the items with the best potential to increase awareness. Authorities along the lines of JMR Graphics can probably tell you the same. To me, these wraps have been able to prove themselves time and time again and the fact that they are able to last for quite some time speaks volumes about how durable they are. They are dynamic enough for others to notice and they will not hinder Nintendo's substantial bank account in the long term, either.

I do not think that the Wii U is a flop since it has only been about a year since the console was first released. I feel as though there is a chance for this console to come back to the surface but only if the proper marketing efforts are set in place. To me, Nintendo has done a poor job in this regard, whether it is a matter of the lack of TV commercials or what have you. Perhaps quality car wraps can help but time will tell if console can come back swinging.
