With the American Express Blue Sky card, you can get $100 statement credit towards travel expenses after getting 7,500 additional points on the card. The first 15,000 points are given to the cardholder after spending 1,000 in the first three months. A sign-up bonus of $200 is essentially given to the consumer since each point is worth 1.33 or 2.66 cents.

On brand new purchases with the AMEX Blue Sky Preferred card, users can get 12 months of no interest. Then, after that, it changes to vary between 17.24 percent and 22.24 percent, according to WiseBread. This all depends on the user's credit rating.

American Express will refund up to $300 per item and $1,000 annually on items purchased within 90 days if the retailer will not take a refund. In addition to that, you get an extra year of warranty on top of the manufacturer's warranty on things with the American Express Blue Sky card.
