Luxury Home Rentals Orlando For Leisure And Business

By Alyce Larson

Choosing one out of the gazillion luxury home rentals Orlando has to offer is not easy. It can be made simpler by sorting out the neighborhoods, so that the search for a specific property is then limited to one or two preferred areas. Factors that might impact the decision include the size of the property and number of rooms required, maximum rental rate per week or day, and the kind of services and facilities one may expect to find in a short-term rental.

Let's do this with the help of a few practical examples. An overwhelming majority of visitors in Orlando and Central Florida tend to be families on a theme park holiday. It would be fair to assume that a property providing easy access to Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World would be more desirable.

Since WDW is located in Lake Buena Vista, consider that as the center of the search for a preferred place to stay. The ideal choices include Kissimmee, Four Corners and Celebration on one side of WDW, with Oak Ridge, Williamsburg and Doctor Phillips on the other side. If this is not possible for some reason, then the search perimeter can be widened to Haines City and Davenport.

The exact choice from amongst these places will depend on the planned itinerary. For instance, those who are more interested in Mickey Mouse, Epcot and the Magic Kingdom will likely prefer a property in Kissimmee or Celebration. These are both the nearest communities from the WDW resort.

Those who would rather go to school at Hogwarts or play with Shamu should be looking at the luxury home rentals Orlando has in communities such as Doctor Phillips, Williamsburg and Oak Ridge. These areas have the advantage of additionally being convenient for business travelers. They can combine business at the convention center with leisure at Sea World or Universal.

It would be advisable to remember that Orlando gets more than 50 million visitors annually, and all of them want to stay in these prime locations. A summer holiday stay in a home rental or villa close to WDW has to be booked at least four to six months beforehand. The good thing is that a wide choice is available, from small homes with two bedrooms for a family of four to large properties that can easily sleep a group of 15 people.

All homes will have a well-equipped kitchen where guests will be able to use everything from microwaves to refrigerators and dishwashers. A pullout couch helps accommodate an extra person, if required. It should have either driveway parking or a parking garage. Facilities commonly available include Wi-Fi Internet, a DVD player and a selection of DVDs, a stereo system, and just about any of the modern necessities that people want when they are traveling.

Many properties will also have a sun deck, outdoor pool and barbecue grill. Maids, cooks, nannies and any other help required will be available on call, if required. All this has a price tag, so there are budget homes and other affordable locations which are more distant. However, if the main intention is to make sure the stay is hassle-free and offers all the comforts of home, then choose one of the upscale luxury home rentals Orlando has in close proximity to the theme parks.
