A Trip to Vancouver

Vancouver is an elegant cool city on the West Coast where you can find lots of famous cafes, excellent cuisines and coffee shops. It is situated in an area where series of creeks and bays are gushing thereby giving the city a magnificent natural setting. The panoramic views, sounds, and folks of Vancouver are astounding making it a fantastic destination for a much awaited vacation. It is a stunning coastal city, situated between the Pacific Ocean and the breathtaking mountains.

Vancouver International Airport will be the landing area for those travelers from the US who are visiting Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Passengers arriving in Vancouver from the USA for the first time are frequently surprised at the beautiful scenery as they approach the airport and are further impressed by the museum artwork and natural scenery displays throughout the airport. The airport is well laid out for international arrivals with signs clearly directing passengers through Baggage Claim and Canada Customs Border Services Agency.

People from around the globe are attracted to this modern-day city. It is not uncommon to hear a variety of languages just walking down the street. You can prove this amazing multiplicity through different restaurants that offer continental foods. Vancouver has a multicultural appeal because of the different nationalities that are living in the city. There are Aboriginal populations, British descendants, Chinese, Irish, Japanese, German, Indo-Pakistani, French, Italian, Dutch, Scandinavian, Ukrainian, Filipino, Greek and more.

If you are looking for places to visit, Stanley Park should be included on the list. Covering more than 1000 acres of land, it is considered as the leading and most striking park in Canada's urban area. The park has many beauties to explore. If you feel like walking on the beach, try doing it in the vicinity of the seawall that extends around 10 kilometers. Stanley Park is also home to the Vancouver Aquarium where you can see Orca and Beluga Whales and much more. Nearby the Aquarium there is also a Children's Farmyard and a Miniature Train Ride.

When you visit Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, you will go back in time to 15th Century China. The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden is the first garden of its kind outside of China. Through this Garden you can have a glimpse of the Chinese scholar's life in the course of the Ming Dynasty.

Grouse Mountain belongs to the North Shore Mountains of British Columbia. This area is perfect for outdoor sports and other activities. If you are into skiing, this place is fit for you as it features an ice rink and twenty six skin runs in the winter season. Anytime of the year, you can be delighted with different facilities like the zip lines, mountain theater, wildlife sanctuary, and an aerial tram.

If you love to travel and enjoy explore new cultures, then Granville Island will surely entertain you a lot. This 37-acre island is a perfect location for shopping while appreciating pleasant culture. Granville Island could be reached via Aquabus, a flotilla of undersized ferries that are operated by electricity as they carry folks through False Creek. Granville Island boasts interesting places like the superb public market, sophisticated shops, and numerous gallerias of arts.
