There is no doubt that travelling and visiting new places mean so much fun! In fact, sometimes it is a bit overwhelming at times too. Did you know that the most typical problem that travellers brave is gastrointestinal problems? Yes, you got that right. Most travellers have already been victims of indigestion once in their travels. Most of us are very much aware how stomach flu can be debilitating especially when you're out for holidays. It can instantly put a crimp in our loveliest days. As such, when you're travelling you should be very keen in defending yourself from the threat of these ailments. Make your travel a memorable experience.

Great eating habits top the list of do's when travelling. If you are a gastronomic traveller, trying every culinary delicacy you bump into isn't easy to resist. Of course you wish to try everything the place offers, however you have to also think that your health could be at stake if you will not carefully watch what you eat.

Street side food is very much prone to contamination and if your digestive system isn't equipped for it then your idea of having a happy travelling experience could go for a toss.

If you are in doubt of the food being served it's always safe to go for fruits. In addition, if you feel suspicious about the cuisine being offered its best to settle for canned goods instead. There is no harm in eating fresh fruits and canned goods instead of having inappropriately cooked beef recipe. Always bear in mind that keeping yourself in good shape is always in your hands. One more thing is to keep your hands clean time after time. Hands are among the filthiest parts of our body that commonly transmits diseases from one person to another.

In addition, it is recommended to stay away from local wines. For those who do not know, local wines are the culprit of destroying many people's travelling experience. Most significantly, remember that what you ingest can significantly affect your mood, therefore try to steer away from oily foods for a memorable travel experience.
