Retaining Effective Care In Clear Airport Security

By Greg Diener

All passengers are trying to look at what is happening at the airport before they travel as a precaution to keep themselves safe. All travelers need to look at what is going on in the world around them to keep a proper eye of the threats we face. While lots of tourists try to keep proper care of how they manage to get through security, there are a few individuals stressed over the problems with clear airport security.

Over the past summer we have observed different circumstances that have manifested at airports around the United States that have led to breaches of multi-million dollar protection systems. Some of these breaches have been as simple as scaling through a fence without anybody noticing. If we are putting in millions of dollars in a program we expect to work and it doesn't do what it's intended, what does that say about the people in control of the system?

You would hope that we are making the agents rightly trained to handle any potential situation that they believe could lead to a risk. I would hate to be someone who works in airline security for a living. These people if they see something that might cause damage on a flight have to ensure that the item is not a risk on the flight. However if that snap decision results in an incorrect instinct it will likely lead to a lot of anger among individuals who feel that their time was wasted.

For the rider though, there is help for them. New programs like flyclear are helping to give airline travelers the improvement of traveling without having to routinely be in fear of hassles at the security line. Passengers for an annual fee can give their records, which can be checked at an airport delivering them the perk of getting to the front of security. Now keep in mind if you use this program, you still have to be patted down at the airport but at least for tourists and security there is some help starting to enter in the picture.

With these new designs, it is my desire to see airline security become perceived by the public as an activity that gives comfort rather than annoyance. If we are to become safe when we travel, it is vital that security and passengers work simultaneously to help stop any crisis that could have the possibility of disaster. If we do not properly identify these problems, then we are going to be asked with the question of "what could we have done better?" That is something that as Americans we need to avoid at all costs.
