Argentina Adventure Tours With Diverse Tour Packages

By Hector Calibugar

Argentina tour packages are greatly varied because the region is cluttered with such diversity. Whether partaking in the high life in Buenos Aires or trekking through ice covered zones scattered with glaciers, there is a trip for every visitor. Take a look into some of the assorted tour ideas available in this part of Latin America.

Patagonia has some of the most exciting high life and wildlife in Argentina. Its glaciers are perhaps its most famous aspect and are titanic enough to shock seasoned tourists into complete silence. Near the Los Glaciares National Park, one can visit the huge Perito Moreno glacier. It's comprised of bits of shifting ice.

The Patagonian wilderness is gated by El Calafate, a culture filled area with many outdoor adventure options. Tourists can take in some pampering before they embark on a trip into the glacier rich areas. This can be done by ship, and the huge Upsala Glacier has become far more accessible because of high tourists demand and the number of ships traveling there.

Glaciers can be viewed from luxury cruise ships with world standard cuisine and amenities. Many glaciers are only viewed from afar from a ship but hiking trips are arranged at various stopping points to allow closer viewings. Tour operators are able to create personalized walks for every fitness level as the ships arrive at these points.

The Beagle Channel towards Buenos Aires takes visitors past more glaciers by sea. There is a settlement along the channel called Ushuaia and another called Puerto Williams. The channel is named after a ship that conducted surveys in the 1800s. Darwin travelled along it and spoke famously about his nightmarish journey. Old fashioned ships couldn't cope well with its waters and it was famous all over the world for its shipwrecks.

Argentina's capital city is Buenos Aires. It's often called the Paris of Latin America. Covered with outdoor cafes and cobbled streets, it's an excellent area for shopping in a culture rich environment. Adventurers will want to visit the nearby Iguaza falls after attending some cultural events in the area. A tango show is too notable a part of the local culture to miss.

A national park surrounds Iguaza falls, inside of which is the boundary between Brazil and Argentina. The falls are a heritage site. The habitat during the initial leg of the trip is a tropical jungle. The part of the falls belonging to Argentina gives visitors a close view either by boat or foot. The falls' Brazilian side gives tourists a distant view of the vista and waters.

Mendoza is a famed cuisine and wine region. Adventurers will enjoy the outdoor activities it offers as well as its history. Many myths began in the area and it's well known for being a sight where Darwin collected some of his fossils. Mendosa also owns the highest land one can visit by car in the Andes. Argentina tour packages can be done in the lap of luxury or simply by foot with a back pack and sleeping bag.
