Boquete Takes The Flavor Of Coffee Seriously

Coffee drinkers from around the globe have chosen to make Boquete their choice destination for many reasons. Called by many the place of coffee and flowers, this small and charming town is one of the most beautiful places the world has to offer and is renowned for the coffee that is harvested there every year. Indeed, it has become the largest coffee harvest celebration ever. However, coffee is not the only reason to visit this town.

Do you ever wonder where your morning cup of coffee got its start from? Would you be surprised to find out that the town of Boquete is one of the largest coffee suppliers on the planet? In fact, they are so big in it that there is a huge festival held every year to celebrate the harvest of coffee cherries and everyone is invited.

This town is located in the mountainous area of Volcan Baru, so you can just imagine the hiking you can get into while visiting. In fact, there exists a trailhead that will take a good four hours to navigate, even longer for those that have never been on it because of the pauses taken to inhale the surrounding beauty.

Bird watching is another great part of this hike. You can find many of the local lodges that will help you in getting this hike set up. Be sure to bring along a camera for some shots you will not get anywhere else in the world. You may have the best weather you could ask for this kind of exploring as well. You will also want to check into a tour that will take you to the top of the Baru Volcano.

Accommodations in the town of Boquete can be made by going online. Check out the Valle Primavera, a guest house that is located only six minutes from town in a quiet and gorgeous setting. This is only one of the fine places to lodge at in this awesome Panama destination. The Finca Larida is another wonderful and affordable accommodation. Finca Larida is nestles into a valley surrounded by lush greenery and veiling nature.

The activities available for you to get into include not only the coffee and flower festivals but also horseback riding, river rafting, and kayaking. Some of these activities are included in tours that will help you in the navigation of waterways and trails. Experiencing these adventures in such a beautiful environment will certainly make memories you will treasure always.

Whether you would like to choose a different restaurant every evening or keep going to the same one, you are going to have the option to try some of the greatest foods you might have ever tasted while visiting in Boquete. One dish called Casado is particularly good and washes down nicely with a cup of the fresh brewed coffee you can only get in this town.

Traveling to Boquete will mean making travel plans ahead of time. You will want to arrive in town with your reservations for lodging already taken care of. This is going to give you less stress and more time to enjoy the destination that is drawing so many tourists.
