A great travel tip is to make sure you leave an itinerary of your trip for anyone that might need to contact you. This is an easy step that only takes a few minutes to complete and it can save you from enduring a lot of heart ache and hassle.When you are traveling, commit to money containers that you can wear inside your clothing or sew simple pockets into the inside of your waist band. If you can not sew, ask someone who can to do it for you or bring it to a tailor or seamstress, and request they sew an inside pocket for you. This keeps your valuables, identification and money safe and you desire not worry about someone stealing your travel bag or wallet.

To make sure you don't lose belongings you bring on the hotel stay, clearly label everything. While a possession with no label might get tossed in the lost and found or grabbed by another guest, a clear label will let people know who this belongs to and how they can get it back to them. Try labeling possessions with your name, address, and telephone number.Ask around on the social networks you frequent for any tips or recommendations of the area you're planning on visiting. You'll be surprised just what may come up. Ask what the right hotels are, what the best restaurants are, what places of interest you should visit. Friends usually give the right ideas!

Autumn is a great time to travel through New England. This is when the leaves begin to change into their beautiful golden color. The weather cools down, making the air feel refreshingly crisp. You no longer have to compete with summer tourists. This is the time when you can slow down your pace of travel and just enjoy the beauty around you.There's a reason every diet program and nutritionist out there tells you to drink water and lots of it. Keeping yourself hydrated with water, rather than coffee, tea or soda, can prevent you from experiencing fatigue and excessive tiredness. These feelings are notorious triggers for emotional eaters. Drinking water before a meal also helps you to feel fuller faster.

Try to find and wear clothing that has hidden pockets. Not only is this convenient for you because you have room to carry more items, but it is helpful for keeping things from thieves and pickpockets. They will never find your valuables in a hidden shirt, pants or jacket pocket.Consider attaching small bells to your carry-on bag. If you're worried that someone might steal or tamper with your baggage during a flight, attach bells to it. Inexpensive, Christmas jingle bells will do nicely. The noise is possibly to deter criminals. If not, the noise will draw your attention.

When traveling, it is very important to keep all cords labeled. Having multiple cords for different things, such as, laptop and cell chargers can be hard to keep track of. Keep all of your cords clearly labeled so that you'll know which cord is for which item. It can also help to make a list of the cords and the colors that go with them.
