Sharm el Sheikh Holidays and Other Magical Christmas Destinations

By Steve Alexander

If you're after a romantic break this Christmas, Egypt is a lovely choice. Sharm el Sheikh holidays are definitely worth considering if you're looking for white beaches, beautiful snorkelling opportunities and hot weather.

When planning a trip to one of the private beaches, make sure you pack a snorkel and mask so you can explore the beautiful coral reef. While not snorkelling, you can spend quality time together relaxing in the sun and soaking up the rays.

The new four star hotel Oriental Rivoli in Naama Bay has a lovely restaurant in the hotel, where you can try smoking the traditional Shisha and sample a Turkish coffee or Italian cappuccino. It is located centrally so you are close to all the entertainment, cafes, bars and shops.

Particularly over the Christmas period, sailing trips on Mallorca holidays are very romantic and you'll be able to tailor it to suit your exact needs if you book your own boating trip. Taking your other half out on the open water, spending all day together and watching the sunset over the glistening ocean is sure to be a romantic experience. The hidden coves can also be explored as a couple and you'll be able to snorkel in and discover the marine life together.

Many activities can be enjoyed together on Crete holidays, such as enjoying a traditional Cretan evening in the village Anoplios. As you gaze out over the lit up fishing boats, you'll be able to enjoy beautiful views from your secret spot hidden away in the mountains.

The village has a restaurant in it that serves a buffet, so they'll be a great selection on food and you'll be able to enjoy some authentic dancing before you join in yourself. Walking shoes are recommended if you wish to go inside the Zeus Cave, which is another great point of interest and is the place where Greek God Zeus was born.
