Green fees, lessons, equipment, and everything else costs money. But the experience is like no other. It is challenging, and mentally and physically stimulating. There is no sport quite like it.

Of course, even if you are not a golfer, you are still able to enjoy all the amenities of a course. Some people come to a golf course not to play but to dine. Many clubhouses offer a wide choice of menu selection. The banquets keep the chefs and dining hall staff on their toes and busy.

Consider if you would want to be a part of a private course. There may be a membership fee, but you will be an exclusive member. Public courses are open for the public to enjoy. Public courses are more recommended if you do not plan to play as often. It is ridiculous to pay a membership fee if you do not plan to play regularly. Enjoy yourself and have a blast playing golf in a town like no other.
