Traveling? Bring Along An Osprey Argon 70

Osprey Packs Argon 70 Backpack - 4300-4700cu in Kelp Green, MBy Samuel Ferguson

A backpack is a cloth sack that is usually secured over the shoulders. This is used to carry reasonably heavy loads that are difficult to be carried in the hands for a long time. There are the smaller backpacks that have one strap going over the shoulder. This is for carrying loads that are not too heavy. The larger backpacks carry heavier loads and are secured over the shoulder by two straps. Some backpacks have padded hip belts for transferring the load to the hips. This is useful when the load weighs more than 22 lbs. The hips can withstand more load than the shoulders.

Weekend Activities: Going Fishing

By Jack Wogan

There are people that after a hard week at work like to unwind in the outdoor. And what better way of doing that than going fishing? If you have never tried this sport then you should, maybe you will like it.

You should try to do this during the summer, when the nature is in full blossom and when you have beautiful scenery to admire. Don't forget to take your tent with you. You never know how things will turn out and maybe you will like to spend the night there. Some might not like the idea of a tent and in this way it would be better to rent a chalet for the weekend and spend some quality time together with your family. Fishing may be an interesting activity for boys but some girls enjoy it also. This is why you should take your time and explain the basics for both your kids. Make sure that you don't forget a very important aspect: the fishing gear. If you feel that you don't want to invest in this fishing equipment then you can just phone the resort and ask them if they rent it.

The Night Time Is The Right Time In The Yucatan

By Ron Williams

The second edition, out of four total editions.

In our last column we discussed the coastal yucatan region south of Playa del Carmen as well as in the area of Tulum. In this piece we are going to center of Playa plus the activities around this prospering beachfront Caribbean township. What originated as a quiet and tiny Caribbean fishing hub, has rapidly evolved into one of the top travel destinations in the yucatan. Back in the early 90's we visited that sleepy little village and I can say first hand it is a far cry from what it is today. Popularity causes advancement and change, but if you are looking for a wonderful get-away and tons of action, Playa is the place.
