The Best Soccer Skills Videos And How They Can Improve Your Game

By Jordan Schmidt

With half of 22 players on one side of the pitch and the rest on the other part, a football and four referees monitoring, a game of soccer is played in a span of 90 minutes comprising a break of 15 minutes in a normal match. In a deciding one, it can be 120 minutes with a break of 5 minutes after the first 90 minutes has elapsed with a barren draw. What are some of the benefits of soccer skills videos watching.

It is good to manage the ball using all the legs, you can dribble it to the direction of the goal and at the same time making fast directional changes without letting the ball out of foot area. Juggle it is using the top instep to backspin it from the opponents area. Short juggling will get it above the opposing team players head and along one will toss it high up the opponents head without him or her stealing the ball from you.

Managing the football using the legs, create space and dribble towards the goal direction while making quick advances in a particular direction. You need not leave the foot area. There is also the technique of juggling the ball and using the backspin technique to pass your opponents. When you use the short juggle method, you will be able to toss a ball over the head of the opponents. It takes a lot of skill for a player to show exemplary skills towards an opponent.

The opponent will get confused not knowing the direction of the ball. Receive the ball more often and grab the show before the opponent. Release the ball to your teammate using the feet if it is a ground pass and other parts of the body when it is an aerial ball without involving the hands.

Shooting into the goal is slightly different than the passing skill, although both the skills require the ability to shoot straight. You have to time the ball when attempting to score; watch the goalkeeper keenly and the decision of scoring at the right time. The goalkeeper might catch the ball using the hands so it is appropriate to master ground shoots as well as air shoots. Instead of direct shots, practice coming in from the side with a sharp-angle shot which can be difficult for the goalie to catch.

The other style that players most often use is the using of the head technique. Heading the ball is one of the ways that you can control the ball to change direction and past your opponent. Never use your handle because it attracts fouls and depending on the place you handled the ball.

Head accuracy has made people score very fabulous goals. Some of the most amazing goals of all time are those that were scored using the head. In most cases, the goals that were angled with the head cannot allow the goalkeeper to adjust to the position.

Using your knees or thighs, be under the ball, bounce it vertically to have its control fully. By the use of the chest, raise your chest a bit and make softer landing base for it. In that manner, the ball cannot bounce away from the chest, guide it to the surface of the playing ground using feet.

The Time I Ate Guinea Pig In Peru

By Jonny Blair

On selected Friday's, Don't Stop Living brings you a featured food. This series of Friday's Featured Foods will be chosen at random from the countless dishes, meals and snacks I have tried as a global traveller. First up, I head back to my time in Peru and the day I tried Guinea Pig, known locally as Cui.

Having been mind blown by the epic sight of Machu Picchu and having just finished the four day Inca Trail, we were all in good spirits. It's a magical place. Our tour guides invited us for lunch in a restaurant in Aguas Calientes in Peru. We were meeting at 3pm. It was Christmas Day. I was hungry and was hoping to try some local food.

As a child Christmas Dinner was always a special occassion. It was nice that I could visit the church in Aguas Calientes before heading to Chaski Restaurant for the Peruvian Christmas Dinner, with a difference.

I had never eaten Guinea Pig in my life so I was looking immensely forward to it. Apparently Ecuador and Peru are the main places you can eat guinea pig - somewhat a delicacy. I love trying new food, but if I don't like it, to be honest I don't always finish it!

The Guinea Pig menu came with a choice of two - roasted (which came with potatoes, cheese, salad) or stewed (which came with rice, potatoes and peanut sauce). They were both the same price - 55Soles so I went for the Roasted Option. As a kid I had always had a roasted turkey meal for Christmas so it was time to try roasted Guinea Pig.

And soon my roasted guinea pig was here and ready to be eaten. Our table raised a toast to completing the Inca Trail and we all ate and drank to our hearts content.

Right so I had the guinea pig, all roasted and for my Christmas Dinner - was it any good? Yes because I ate most of it. You had to pick at the bones for a lot of it and to be honest there were not large chunks of meat in it. But I try anything once and I loved it. It tasted slightly like chicken. After having my guinea pig for Christmas Dinner it was now time for a few beers to relax and celebrate having done the mega 4 day Inca Trail. Guinea Pig in Peru - yes - go and try it!! Happy eating and don't stop living!

Terrible Airline Companies

By Jonny Blair

Here are the world's 5 worst airlines to fly with!

1. TACA AIRLINES (PERU BASED)

In Peru you should make sure you never fly with Taca. They are cheap and they are shit, they are one of the worst airline companies around. They cancel flights all the time with no warning and they don't show any signs of customer service.

2. Jetstar a budget Airline

Despite initially loving their cheap kick-ass fares, Jetstar quickly proved their lack of customer service to me in 2011. I had started a new job and been lucky to be given a whopping THREE days off in my first month, just so I could fly all the way back to the UK to attend a wedding. One of my best mates as a child was Michael McClelland and so I wanted to be there in Belfast for his big day. It would also be my first time in Northern Ireland for some 800 days - my longest ever time away from my native land. So I booked 2 flights with Jet Star as it was just so cheap even with connections, I then booked another two flights with Air Asia and Easyjet meaning I could get home to Michael's wedding, but would have 4 flights to take, a half day in Kuala Lumpur and a full day in Paris on route. Two cities I'd been to before, but hey I could see family and attend a wedding and keep my job as a school teacher in Hong Kong. All the flights were cheap. All looking good.

3. Aerolineas Argentinas

A very strange company Aerolineas as they scheduled a flight for me before my initial flight was even due to leave. It was all a bit weird and I wasted a few days in Ushuaia sat in their office trying to sort the flights out.

- they changed my flight time 3 times

- changed the airport of my first flight (from Jorge Newberry to Ezeiza, Buenos Aires)

- cancelled an entire flight

- the next flight was then delayed

- they put the blame on these mistakes down to a computer error

4. Cathay Pacific Airlines

This airline company Cathay Pacific lost my bag in 2012. It was totally crazy. After losing it they then claimed that I hadn't even handed my bag in which was total negligence on their side as I handed it in and they managed to not even put it on my flight. This meant when I was in Belfast for 5 days my bag was in Hong Kong. I finally got it sent across but with no compensation offered.

5. Cheap Company Air Asia

I hate Air Asia - they are a horrible airline company and I urge you all not to fly with them. The cancelled, delayed, changed lots of my flights down the years. When they did that they didn't even offer an apology or a free cup of tea or coffee. A hotel room would have been nice but we ended up sleeping on the floor at the airport.

- Never trust Air Asia

As a person who has worked in the travel industry, the customer service industry and in Public Relations during my life, I'm fairly qualified and knowledge to know that these 5 shit airline companies suck. I would like to mention that Aerosur (Bolivia), Ryanair (Ireland), Air Canada (Canada) and British Airways (England) have all been good airline companies to fly with.

So chin up and happy travels and don't let these horrible companies get you down!

Tips To Search For Baseball Cards Online

By Kathrine Franks

On the World Wide Web, you can find a lot of stuff that you can consider as tradable. These stuff are those trade goods that are necessary for you to complete your collection. For example, those people who are fans of baseball will surely be the ones interested in buying baseball cards Minnesota. They can add this merchandise to their collection, after all.

Many sellers can be found in the market these days. It might be that they are selling as an individual who had purchased a vintage and want to make money out of it. If not, they might be the actual manufacturers who are looking for buyers for their stuff. These sellers use whatever methods they can to sell their products.

For these sellers, they have a number of ideal methods to make use of for selling. A perfect example of the selling methods the vendors can use would be the Internet. A seller can just enter the online marketplace to find potential buyers interested in their merchandise. The vendors can reach out to as many buyers they can find through this method.

Even when it comes to the Web, there are numerous ways that a seller can go about it. They can just make their own website or they can go for the buy and sell websites. It is up to the seller which of these methods they find convenient for what they are offering. It is up to them to decide which one they think is the best at reaching out to their potential buyers.

If you are planning to search for a seller who you can get the tradable items online, then you better remember some things about it. Even when there is a number of sellers you can find on the Web, one has to pick the seller with the best reputation. Here are some tips to remember when buying the tradable goods.

First, investigate more on the reputation of this seller. It is imperative that you pick the vendor who has a positive reputation on the Web. With a seller who has a positive reputation, you are guaranteed quality customer service and satisfactory sales transaction. You must be meticulous in choosing the reputation of your seller.

When you are looking at the listing of the tradable product you plan to buy, you must check up on its specifications. The specifications must be according to what you know. Some cases occur when the specifications are what gives away the fake items from the genuine ones. Read the specs or ask for more details before buying.

Most listings have a picture attached to them. The pictures are also useful. A person can oftentimes get an idea on the quality of these tradable items through what the attached pictures are showing. Just make certain that the picture used on a listing is not grabbed from the Internet. It should be one taken personally by the seller.

The cost should also be taken into account. This is mainly because you might not have that big of a budget to buy the offered item being listed on buy-and-sell websites. Be particular with the cost if you do not want to be financially burdened after you have made your purchase.

How Not To Get Sick When Traveling Abroad

By Jonny Blair

Avoid Local Water

We have all heard that piece of advice before going on our holiday. It has been a warning given to foreign travellers for years. Depending on which area of the world you are traveling to, will determine the health risks you will have to watch out for. Each country has their own unique organisms in the water, so it is quite common to get ill while traveling. One in three people will spend at least one day in bed with an upset stomach. The close confines of an airplane cabin mean that 80% of the air is contaminated with other peoples exhaled germs, so catching some sort of illness is inevitable if there are sick people on the plane. The more that you travel the better your body will be at fighting these foreign organisms and bacteria. Talk to a doctor if you feel really bad at any stage and have good travel insurance.

Not Letting an Illness Ruin Your Travel

If you get sick during your holiday it can ruin the whole experience. Nobody wants to spend their hard earned cash on a trip where they end up sick in bed all day. One of the most common ways to get sick is by drinking the local water. Your best bet is to avoid the water all together and drink plenty of clean bottled water from a supermarket. Also, brush your teeth with bottled water and wash hands too. If you are travelling to a hot country you may become dehydrated. This will make illness easy as your bodys defences will be down. Drink at least 2 litres eery few hours to keep your body functioning at optimum levels during your trip. If you are feeling a bit ill try to avoid alcohol and caffeine as they make you urinate more and therefor cause dehydration.

Rest does wonders to help recover from an illness. I sure you do not want to sleep your vacation away but try to organize a short nap after lunch. If your planning a evening out, lay down for fifteen minutes before getting dressed for dinner. Indoor activities may be easier to handle so maybe a little rescheduling would help.

The Best Way To Protect Yourself

To stop yourself getting sick while abroad, try to avoid that which will make you sick. Avoid brushing your teeth with the local water and buy plenty of bottled stuff as soon as you land. Pressurized air in a planes cabin is quite dry and can make you dehydrated. You should try to rest well the night before you fly and get enough sleep. Travelling can make you tired and irritable, which then makes you stressed, which is when the bodies defences are down. It gets pretty cold when flying so make sure you bring warm clothes. Try to keep a bottle of water handy and carry a few essentials to make the trip easier.

As soon as you feel sick, get to a chemist and get some medicine. Some quick over the counter medicine can reverse the effects. Imodium and ginger candies are also good anytime your stomach is upset. These few remedies can save you a lot of disappointment. Carrying a small First Aid Kit or travellers kit should be something for you to consider. Having these essentials as well as a few more can make life a great deal more enjoyable. A small bottle of hand sanitizer may come in handy also.

On arrival in your destination country, try to take it easy when sampling the local foods. Jumping in gives your system no time to adapt. If you do become ill, stay in bed and rest.

Soweto In South Africa - A Top 5

By Jonny Blair

Soweto is an incredible township and I have to say - head there and see it!! Not only is it one of the most famous townships in South Africa but it has a lot of history and more importantly things to see and do. Top 5s are difficult but I'm going to try! I've had to narrow it down but here goes...

1. Spend a night with a local family:

A highlight from my travels round Soweto was staying with a local family in Orlando East. I stayed with Rachel and her son and daughter. They made me welcome and it was a small but cosy house. At night they just sit at home and cook and watch TV - almost back to basics existence but a great experience and if you get the chance to do it - go for it!!

2. Visit Nelson Mandela's House:

I have to say that a visit to Nelson Mandela's former house in Vilakazi Street is a must. Don't miss it! Nowadays his former home has been turned into an excellent mini museum, open to the public. It is just incredible to step inside the house where Mandela once lived. There are quotes on the walls on bricks in the courtyard, photos inside and the house is small. It's amazing that this man changed the world. Get this on your list!

3. Become a local by heading to a Shebeen:

You haven't really sampled South African township culture until you've been to a Shebeen! I'm serious! These are an absolutely quality experience - you meet, talk and enjoy the locals who sit and relax to their heart's content in Shebeens. You will try the Joburg Beer in Soweto which is pink in colour, low in alcohol percentage and shared by drinking out of a large tub. You'll be made welcome and you will love talking to the locals. Do it!

4. Soweto Bicycle Tours:

Doing a bicycle tour in Soweto is another in my top 5 - why? Because it is the best way to get around and get out to other parts of the massive township! Walking isn't enough - Soweto is massive and it's poky streets and hoardes of people about mean that by driving you won't really enjoy it or see it properly - so hire a bike or become part of the Soweto bicycle tour and you'll get to visit a few different parts of the township, meeting locals and seeing sights you won't get by walking. Do it!

5. The Hector Pieterson Museum:

The Hector Pieterson Museum is highly recommended to get into the history of Soweto and in particular the Soweto Uprising of 1976. A museum and well maintained streets and tributes now sits where Hector Pieterson was once shot dead. It's a real eye opener. Definitely in my top 5 things to do in Soweto!

So head to Soweto and understand the history of this cultured township. These are my top 5 for you!

Techniques On Marketing Best Oxidation Cleaner

By Kathrine Franks

In the marketing industry, there is more to understanding than promotion alone. Although it takes an illustrious mouth to persuade clients, this is not just merely about conveying implication to them. A person is said to be a good marketer if he would take his time scrutinizing and knowing the different sides of his merchandise. Speaking should be associated with learning how to listen.

In the city of Richmond, NH the inhabitants of different ages are diligent to discover the behaviors to persuade somebody to buy a merchandise. Most of their concerns focus on best oxidation cleaner. But in this piece of writing, we do not converge on it alone because every commodity can get profit from this.

Whatever you have decided to do, you must put your everything on it. It is important to remind yourself every now and then the reason of your becoming a salesperson. Invest the time to know the different approach to magnetize the people. Be well rounded of all the possibilities and the things you will undergo through the process of reaching the top of the league.

Do not underestimate the skill to adapting and memorizing the specifics of a product. This may be beyond your expertise, but still it is one good way of letting the people get to be interested in it. The tactic you will use is to provide them nothing but good on a side of that merchandise. Be liable enough to take charge of an information given to your chosen market.

Pros should not be the center of your item. Remember that in every good, a shopper will always find a way to bring up the bad ones. Answer them politely but still a good way that it would not put your product be lost in the topic. Have it clearly stated that you tried the goods by yourself and you still got a better result afterwards.

While you are on the merge of explaining the good things to the client, create a big emphasis on the benefits. Convert the message in an artistic way to the point that the patron finds it hard to go back on the argument itself. Give him the product information clearly and adequately elucidated. He will tend to interpret it again over the good side of box.

Be able to listen to what the customer is saying. The mistake of not being so open to the needs of consumer result and will affect the totality of it. If the client turns the topic on his side, take time to listen. Hear his reasoning. In that manner, the methods will suddenly pop up on your mind. Never neglect a single word from a client.

Honesty may sound alarming. Although it is not that applicable at all times, but this is the only thing that will build partnership and trust. Once you have gained the trust from your target market, the next time you present something to them, they will easily grab the opportunity to have it. Convey your personal recommendation to their opinions.

Attend seminars and workshop. Look for an upcoming event where the experts on marketing are gathered. Visit your town hall and see if there are registered events or exhibits in this field. Study their recommendation and apply it slowly even ion your small projects. If you found it effective execute it.

5 Best Cities For Night Views

By Jonny Blair

I was browsing in a camera shop tonight and got thinking about taking photos at night. I suddenly realised that of all the outdoor photos I have uploaded or taken, about 95% of them are daytime! So here's 5 of my favourite cities by night, for views.

Night photos work best in cities with decent lighting - stating the obvious but this means the likes of Sydney and Tokyo look better at night than say Uyuni in Bolivia. I'll kick off my list with Asia's skyscraping metropolis - Hong Kong!

1. HONG KONG: Victoria Harbour:

For views, you cannot really beat Hong Kong. And I know I'm only basing this on places I've actually seen at night, but I love it. A pretty, clean, shiny harbour reflecting boats, skyscrapers and with mountains in behind, it is hard not to love the busy night time appeal of the Kong. For the best night views, it's either:

(a) Get a tram up to The Peak!

(b) find a mate whose flat has a decent view (I've lived in 3 places in Hong Kong all of which had amazing night views!)

(c) go for dinner in a restaurant on a high floor such as Aqua or Sky 100 . Please note that you have to pay in Sky 100 to get to the top, though Aqua allows you to just pop in for a quick cocktail and enjoy the view.

2. Tokyo, JAPAN:

Strangely Tokyo isn't one of my favourite cities yet at night it somehow gets my vote. By day I found it expensive, too big and just inspiring. At night, outdoor food stalls, relaxed locals and endless lights give it a whole new appeal to the average passer by. I have yet to experience the same contrast in any other city I have ever been, so honestly - check Tokyo out at night and compare it to the daytime. It's an amazing transformation. I visited Ginza, Shinjuku, Roppongi, Shinagawa, Shinkiba and Shibuya at night so I base my experience on those places. The lights of Tokyo at night just need to be seen.

3. Sydney in AUSTRALIA:

Sydney has to be in my list - I lived out there for a couple of years and to have the view of Sydney Harbour every night is a traveller's dream. The Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour. A bustling nightlife - you really can chill out a lot in Sydney at night while also enjoying one of the world's top cities. I made it to a New Year's Eve fireworks display before and loved it. Get yourself down to the waterfront and relax with a beer! You will just love it!

4. St. Malo, FRANCE:

I'm sure this will be a surprise inclusion to most but I just love St. Malo in Brittany. By night, this quiet port houses nothing more than relaxing tranquility within it's well maintained city walls. Boats come in and out at all hours of the days, the walls light up at times, festival seasons are fantastic and St. Malo hides a charm only those who have been there will ever know about. Get yourself into a restaurant in the downtown, order a few crepes and beers or wines and watch the sunset over the harbour in a world bereft of skyscrapers. Proof that not all cities at night for views have to have skyscrapers or be well lit up. I used to work on boats in and out of St. Malo and my memories of the shining harbour at night will live forever.

I spent a fair few nights in the city itself, but most of my views of the gorgeous St. Malo were from the bow of the ship as we sailed in or out of this splendid French Port! If you live in the south of England, hop on a Condor Ferry and spend a night at least in St. Malo!

5. Budapest in HUNGARY:

Budapest is stunning. Get yourself up to a place called Gellert at night for a different type of night view - no lit up commercial advertising boards here. This is Eastern Europe remember and the most prominent feature is the marvellous Parliament which shines onto the river Danube which separates Buda from Pest. Squashed in between is the island of Margit Sziget. All worth seeing from Gellert - and cracking at night. Bring a decent camera and some warm clothes. And try Hungarian sweet wine and a drop of goulasch. It's a top city.

So there you go - that's my top 5 cities for night views. I tried to mix it up a bit and of course left a few gems out. New York, London, Sao Paulo, Caracas and Macao will have to wait for another time. Get out there and see these amazing top 5 at night!

Don't Stop Living!

An Irish Pub In La Paz Bolivia

By Jonny Blair

The Wild Rover in La Paz, Bolivia quite simply is the highest Irish pub in the world. Yes I also went to Paddy's in Cuzco which lays a similar claim, but here in La Paz I made my way to The Wild Rover.

The Wild Rover sits in the lofty high altitude of La Paz - its also a hostel so you can stay there and although I knew this beforehand, I didn't stay there but in nearby Loki Hostel. On the first floor of the hostel sits the world's highest Irish Pub. It was an amazing place to relax

The Wild Rover Backpackers doubles up as a tour agent, and indeed I booked a few of my trips within Bolivia from here. But you have to let things go when you travel as you never have time to cram them all in and I was happy to visit the world's highest football stadium (Estadio Hernando Siles) and the world's highest Irish pub as cheaper and worthy substitutes (itself probably not even the right word to use).

As a Northern Irishman it was nice to see a few Northern Irish mentions in the pub, Geordie Best made it onto the wall here in the world's highest Irish Bar. Amazing to see him feature there and it made me feel at home for a while!

I posed for a photo with my travelling Northern Ireland flag - we are a small proud part of the island and we need more publicity!

Then as I sat down at the bar, I recognised the accent of the guy serving me! It was a strong Northern Irish accent! The first other Northern Irish person I had met in South America. Serving me an ice cold Pacena beer was Grant McParland, all the way from Carryduff in County Down, Norn Iron!!!

Grant serves me then comes to this side of the bar to join me for a beer and a chat. It's all a bit surreal! We talk about Tayto, Milky Ways, Gaelic football and Glentoran FC. Grant even puts on his County Down gaelic top!

I also met a girl from Dublin in there - a Liverpool fan and we were sat watching a live European match between Liverpool and Utrecht!

I got a few flag photos with the Northern Ireland flag against the Irish Tricolour and it remains the only photo I have in South America of another person from Northern Ireland holding that flag.

Grant even controlled the music while I was drinking there as he put his iPod as the dukebox! I also chatted away to Jack the manager about the possibility of working there in the future and really wanted it as an option. I've worked in Irish pubs in three different continents so would love to do a fourth!

Every night in the Wild Rover it totally does get wild! This is a party style pub and a lot of fun activities go on including shots, cocktails, dancing on the bars and mild nudity! You really forget that outside you are in one of the highest cities in the world!

Cheers and Slainte with Grant, the sublime experience of having a Bolivian beer at some 3,660 metres above sea level. Amazing. It wasn't a Guinness - a Pacena would have to do...

!

The pub is on a side street but you will notice it first and foremost as a backpackers hostel, once inside head up the stairs to the world's highest Irish Pub!

Nestled on a street somewhere in this built up city high into the mountains is the Wild Rover! Incidentally I make a habit of visiting Irish Pubs. I've been in at least one Irish Pub per continent by now, worked in an Irish Pub in 3 continents, been to Ireland's Highest Pub (The Ponderosa) and been the the world's most southern Irish Pub (in Ushuaia).

In short my trip to the Wild Rover - the world's highest Irish Pub was amazing. Would love to go back - thanks to Grant for serving me and having a chat and just the sheer madness of it all! Don't Stop Living.

In Ireland the phrase "Top o the morning to you" is used. Here in La Paz it was more like "top of the world to you!"
