Morocco is a country located in the land of North Africa. It is a popular place for people to visit. If you would like to travel to Morocco, there are some things to keep in mind in planning and carrying out the adventure.

Overall, the Moroccan climate is accommodating and allows visitors to enjoy different areas of the country all year round.

Many airlines offer services to this region and there are 15 airports operating in this country, allowing for easy destination access. Some may choose to travel by boat or cruise. This is a popular option for those who live at a starting point that allows for it.

The national currency in this country is called dirham. This cannot be converted outside of the country borders and so travelers should make exchanges or bring other forms of payment as preparation. By presenting an exchange permit, visitors can change their international currency for dirhams. This can be done at them majority of banks, some hotels and bureaux de change at airports. A passport may be required in this process. Visitors should not forget to exchange their dirhams before they leave the country. It is also recommended that they check on the exchange rate of currency and to see if the bank they are a part of is in the Moroccan banking network.
