Monuments Across Seattle

Seattle, Washington is amongst the most unique and distinguished cities in the United States. With all sorts of conveniences, tourist sights and opportunities, Seattle has lots to offer to many of us. The community of Seattle is amongst the preferred holidaymaker spots and is also among the top spots to live. Like plenty of other metro areas, the community of Seattle has many tourist attractions and landmarks that appeal to visitors. One of the most fascinating landmarks in the town are the monuments in Seattle. The monuments in Seattle offer very interesting perspectives for travelers when they are in Seattle. The varied Seattle monuments allow visitors to get a very lasting impression of the city.

Smith Tower Observation Deck

This monument is situated on Seattle's Second Avenue and was built in 1914. Smith Tower is often known as Seattle's favorite building among both residents and visitors. With the Smith Tower folks will be able to get great perspectives of Seattle's mountain, downtown and waterfront areas. One of the features of the Smith Tower is that it is one of the naiton's tallest buildings and the tallest building in the U. S. outside of NY City. Going to the Smith Tower is definitely worth the trip.

The Space Needle

This is easily recognizable as of the nation's most renowned and distinguished building structures and monuments. It is located on Broad Street and was built in 1962 for the World Fair. This monument is one of the most unique and appealing worldwide. Folk can take the elevator when entering the monument and go up to 525 feet in only 41 seconds. After they get to the top they'll be able to get to the observation platform and see for a great distance. The great view offered to visitors are the Pudget Sound, Lake Union, Elliot Bay and the entire downtown of Seattle. With the Space Needle, visitors who enter the structure may be able to use complimentary Swarovski Telescopes that provide magnified views of the city and its natural surroundings. This monument also has a restaurant known as The Sky City and a section that shows historic facts about the city.

Boeing Factory

This monument is the HQ and production center for the famous Boeing Airplanes Co. When visiting the factory folk are able to go on tours and view the 747, 767, and 777 Boeing airplanes at their diverse steps in production. The building is amongst the biggest in the world. With the Boeing factory, folks will be able to have an inside look in to one of the unique monuments in Seattle.

Visiting Seattle is certain to be a extraordinarily delightful experience for many folks. The city of Seattle offers many things worth doing and destinations to explore. One of the greatest sorts of places to see in Seatttle are the monuments. The monuments offer visitors a great opportunity to see some of the most widely recognized monuments in not only the US, but in the world.
