Interesting Places To See After All Your Wisconsin Bike Tours

One thing everyone knows about Wisconsin is the abundance of historic sites is has for people to stop at to make memories that will last a lifetime. There are so many different places to go. There are natural wonders, man made wonders, huge cities and forests that go on forever. A young person could spend a life time visiting places and would likely not see them all. After you have taken all your Wisconsin bike tours, there are some places you should try to make a special effort to see.

In the U. S there are more miles of road than anywhere else on the planet. It is estimated there are about 2.5 million miles altogether. In California by the coast there is a 135 mile highway called California pacific number 1. It twits along the coastal line from San Luis Obispo to Monterey. The coastal views are quite breathtaking and unforgettable.

At New Orleans there is a small part of town known as the French quarters. Oddly most locals call it the quarters. No where else can you be subject to such wonderful or inspiring architectural buildings. From a French colonial townhouse, to the creole cottage to hidden old mansions and great food.

If you find yourself around Washington, D. C. Try to take a side trip to visit the national mall. Most noteworthy there is the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials. There is the Washington monument, the Vietnam Veterans memorial and the Martin Luther King JR memorial. When you are done with all that, you can pop in the Smithsonian Institute to get a look at our country's history.

If buffets or gambling are something you really like, the strip at Las Vegas is one place you should see. There are also nightly shows to see and very cheap hotels you can always check into. You also need to know, what occurs in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas.

You can find several different parks around the U S, but none are quite as majestic or awe inspiring as Wyoming's Yellowstone national park. First opened up in 1872, it has about two million acres that were America's very first national park. Generally is believed to be nearly the same now as it was back in 1872.

There is inside each of us a child full of hopes and dreams waiting to get out when we least expect it. This is why no list would be complete with out mentioning Disney's magic Kingdom in Florida. Not only is there rides and shows and sugary foods to get wired on, but many cartoon characters from our childhoods wander the park reminding us of what it was like to be a child.

There are many different places you can see in Wisconsin when you take Wisconsin bike tours. Afterwards everyone should at least once try seeing Arlington Cemetery. Arlington National Cemetery is where soldiers from all the wars we have been in are interred. It is a powerful reminder of the greatness of this country, but the people that helped make it that way.
