So you've got your tickets, you've scheduled the travel and accommodation, now all you have to do is start packing. "But wait. Exactly what things will I really need to take to an amusement park?" I hear you wonder.
Described below I am going to tell you the most suitable items that you should take to the parks with you.
Sun Screen Lotion - This is perhaps the most important item to remember! Florida is certain to be extremely hot, even throughout the winter months. You can still get sunburnt through the clouds, even if the sun isn't shining. Pack it!
Drinks - Carrying a reusable water bottle (or any liquid come to think of it) will be a complete lifesaver during those hot days outside. After you finish it all, you can head over to a nearby water fountain and refill it and reuse it again. Suggestion: We generally freeze our liquids (non-fizzy) each time we stop by the theme parks. This allows them to remain chilly all day long.
Camera - You might be astonished at the number of people that actually fail to remember their camera. Of course nearly all the parks have photographers (that charge huge prices for photos) but in case you want to shoot your own personal photographic memories, do not forget that camera! There are often signs pointing out the character fun spot of the park.
Walking Shoes - Consider just how many miles you will end up trekking in one day at the parks. You may forget how much you really travel, probably because you will be having too much fun! However wearing uncomfortable sneakers can cause your feet to get blisters. And that could totally ruin your day.
Your Wallet - Or even just a credit card. You will most certainly have to bring something with you to pay for things. There can be a heck of a lot of shopping to be done. Wouldn't it be terrible if you forgot your wallet? There is a lot that you can purchase in the Orlando theme parks. A lot of other parks sell a great deal of junk that you REALLY shouldn't purchase! However at the Orlando theme parks (especially Animal Kingdom) you will find a lot of really neat merchandise that you can purchase.
Often while visiting EPCOT I have watched someone try to buy something. They would hand over their unsigned credit card and have it denied. Currently Disney have a rule that says they can't take unsigned credit cards without an ID (a drivers license or passport). Also if you would like to drink any alcoholic beverages (and are over twenty one) you will need proof of your age. Especially when "drinking around the countries" at EPCOT.
