Mountain Resorts Which Result In Fun

By Julee Preisel

One of the biggest problems when going on vacation is finding a place everybody can enjoy. When mom and dad are skiers, the kids can sort of get forgotten. But that's not the case if you go to a resort like Squaw Valley. Here you can be sure there's fun for literally everybody.

Through a merger with Alpine Meadows, you can guarantee 3 different mountains to ski on thanks to his revamps. That means 3 very distinct places for you to get out there and enjoy nature, and also enjoy your skiing no matter your skill level.

Whether you want to stick around the Olympic level courses at Squaw Valley, or look for a more scenic route in the Olympic board, you've got some great options.

From there you have to think about where you want to ski. Because of agreements reached by CEO Andy Wirth, you'll find that you now have access to 3 mountains. There's Squaw Valley of course, but also two other great locations.

But that's not even scratching the surface. There are also great activities like dog sledding. With an authentic guide, you can experience exactly what it's like to ride on a dog sled and participate in a race.

You can find resort tours, so that you can enjoy the nature of being on such a big resort. Or you can simply get out there on a snowmobile as well, so that you can explore at your own pace. It's all about how you want to vacation.

Of course if the kids or even the parents don't really like the outdoors, the High Camp is still a great place to be. You're going to find tons of luxurious places to crawl up with a book, or enjoy some hot chocolate and some local company.

With the large selection of surrounding lodgings, you can be sure there's somewhere affordable to stay as well. Just be sure to plan ahead, because Squaw Valley is definitely going to be busy just about year round.
