A billboard or a big screen with moving texts across it will definitely do the trick. These are what Marquees For Sale do. It slides through magnificently with flashing lights leaving one with an awed look.

In movie world, this is what brings all the attraction. It displays the play or movie and the artists in the acts. It is also a common sight in discos, clubs and billboards showing the various performing artists. A little zest is always added to it and you can identify it with intermittent flash of white or yellow lights as they chase each other transversely.

All these explanations just pin to one thing: it is a moving word or image or a combination of both. They are however extensively used in websites especially in advertising campaigns because they have a catchy effect. No matter how hard one tries to avoid them, the eyes just can not stop being glued to them. One can pop up anywhere in an online site and it immediately catches the eye.

A look at the scrolling images reveals texts or images for that mater that glides through a monitor. They may progress from left to right, right to left, top to bottom, or bottom to top. It is just ones preferences that matters to generate much loved end result. A stunning effect may involve images moving from left to right while texts glide from top to bottom.

When varying the rate, the options available include, slow, medium or fast. A look at the continuous scrolling text reveals an image or signs that scroll from one end of the monitor to the other. Once it reaches an end, it appears again at the other end. This tend is continuous unless interrupted or altered by human action.

As mentioned earlier, the pace of their movement can be varied. The sliding can be slow, medium or fast. The rate does not apply to word movement; pictorials can as well be controlled. Some tricks may involve alternating, down or up alternation, zigzagging, or alternating and meandering of their progress.

Marquees can also be referred to as transitional effects. In presentations involving slides, they are a common sight. They are used in the shift from one slide to another. If well constructed and may be combined with sound production, a killing upshot is the best description for the end result.
