Le Louvre is the largest home of art pieces in the City of Paris and around the world. It boasts collections that are thousands of years old from every distinct civilization including that of Greeks and Europeans of Renaissance.

It is also known to be the home of the greatest Leonardo da Vinci work, Mona Lisa and obviously how it gets a lot of its visitors. The place was also a setting of one of the scenes of the movie by Tom Hanks, an adaptation of the novel, The Da Vinci Code.

Louvre Museum seats at the middle of Paris, in 34 to 36 Quai du Louvre, Paris, France 75001. Taking the metro, your closest stop would be at Palais Royal-Musee du Louvre.

This museum, devoted to the life and works of Pablo Picasso, is seated in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, which is in the center of the city. The museum, that exhibits more than 3,000 artistic works done during the lifetime of Picasso, is housed in a splendid 17th century private residence that has been transformed into the art museum we see today.

Through the Paris metro, you may get down at either Filles du Calvaire, Chemin Vert, or Saint Paul. From there, walk your way to 5 Rue de Thorigny, Paris France 75003 which is the accurate location of the museum.

In 16th Arrondissement stands a museum that depicts a specific art school referred to as French impressionism. It is mainly put to honor French impressionist Claude Monet.

There are over 100 of Monet's art pieces here as well as pieces by other famed French impressionists such as Renoir and Guaguin. This museum is situated at 2, rue Louis-Boilly, Paris, France 75016

This is among the smaller art museums in Paris; however, it's still well worth a visit. Situated in the 16th Arrondissement, it would be a good idea to combine a visit here with the Monet art museum in the same area of Paris.

Muse Jacquemart-Andr seats in 158 Boulevard, Haussmann, Paris, France 75008. It showcases Asian and European art including that of Van Dyck, Rembrandt and Frans Hals. You can reach there using the metro and stop on either Miromesnil or Saint Philippe.
